Acie Davis – Chief Executive Officer, initiated Davis & Adams in 1989 with his partner at that time Paul Adams. Mr. Adams elected to move his life in another direction leaving Acie as the sole proprietor after just one year. Acie was left with several challenges and opportunities. He elected to move the company forward and has made Davis & Adams successful in the process. This accomplishment is based in his twenty seven (27) years of construction experience, formal education from Kansas State University where he earned his degree in Business Administration, and his military experience where he achieved the rank of Naval Captain before retiring from the U.S. Navy. Acie also recognizes that his accomplishments are directly related to the quality of people he has elected to employ, partner with, and associate with professionally.
Sonny Talamantes , COO
Sonny Talamantes - Chief Operation Officer, joined Davis & Adams after spending the last eighteen years (18) in law enforcement. He rose through the ranks, which provided him a unique perspective of our society and public entities. His years as a trainer, supervisor, and manager have prepared him for many of the challenges associated to structuring and maintaining teams of positive progressive personnel. It is from this perspective that he realizes people with common goals and global views achieve what they set out to accomplish.
Jeanie Williams, Financial Services Manager
Jeanie Williams - Financial Service Manager, has twenty-five (25) years of accounting experience, eighteen (18) of which are specific to construction. She joined Davis & Adams in 1993 and has been influential in creating the company's asset management system. It is because of her experience, ability to analyze, and interpersonal skills that she was chosen as the Financial Services Manager.
Erik Durkin, Director of Busines Developement
Erik Durkin – Director of Business Development/ Project Manager, started in the field learning first hand how projects are built. After several years in the trades he moved into Project Management. His energy, innovative problem solving ability, and asset management skills have caused clients to directly involve him in their expansion plans. This experience and formal education, (B.S. from Salem State University), have prepared him well for future endeavors.
The following personnel support these staff members:
Estimation Department – Two Estimators and a Project Coordinator with a combination of over fifty (50) years of experience work diligently to make sure plans and budgets are commensurate.
Project Management – Four Project Managers and Two Project Engineers ensure the clients fiduciary needs are met throughout the course of a project.
Field Operation – The Field Operations Manager and General Superintendent oversee a field of twenty (20) members. They ensure scheduling, safety, critical path, and plan detail adherence.
Administrative Services – Six (6) staff members under the direction of the Financial Services Manager detail administrative needs. During the course of a project, they coordinate financial requirements and close-out packages.
